45 YEAR OLD MAN INJURED IN 3 VEHICLE COLLISION – A75

About 07.20am  on Monday 14 November 2016 a three vehicle road traffic collision happened on the A75 road on the Dumfries by-pass, between the A709 and the A701 roundabouts.

The vehicles involved were a white coloured Volvo lorry being driven by a 30 year old man from County Down, Northern Ireland, a yellow Volvo lorry being driven by a 23 year old man from Moffat and a blue coloured Honda Premacy car being driven by 45 year old man from Ruthwell.

As a result of this collision the Honda car left the roadway and struck a number of trees. The driver of this car was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with minor injuries. The roadway at the scene was closed and diversions put in place in order to recover all the vehicles.
