UPDATE: MISSING 8 YEAR OLD FROM LOCHMABEN FOUND SAFE AND WELL
Dumfries and Galloway Police issued a statement, later in the day that 8-year-old Connor had been found safe.

The Police at Lockerbie are concerned for the welfare of an eight year old boy from Lochmaben who left his home address to attend school this morning but failed to show up at Lochmaben Primary School. He was last seen in Lochmaben High Street about 0930 hours this morning (13/04/2016).
He is described as male, white, 4’0” tall, short ginger hair, freckles on face, wearing a red school jumper and black trousers and carrying a dark rucksack.
It is requested that anyone who has any information as to the whereabouts of the schoolboy or has seen someone fitting the description given please contact the Police on 101.
