Coovan visits local 5 star attraction the Devils Porridge Museum

On a summer tour one of Visit Scotland’s highland coo vans stopped at the Devils Porridge Musuem at Eastriggs near Annan, dumfries and Galloway last Friday.

The museums vice chairman Graham Croft said, “It’s not everyday that you have a highland cow in your car park and it really caused a lot of excitement with our visitors”. With two coach parties visiting the museum that day and a whole host of other visitors, Visit Scotland’s Coovisers were certainly kept busy.
“It’s been a very busy summer so far” said access and learning officer Steven Bogle. “All our summer activities have been really well attended and we’re looking forward to seeing even more young people and their families over the rest of the summer holidays”.

The Devils Porridge Museum is the perfect place for a family day out this summer with activities for all of the family on six days a week and their secret kids’ zone and interactive exhibition sure to keep the whole family entertained.
