Dumfries and Galloway Council Housing Options and Homeless Service are currently looking for expressions of interest from registered private landlords with properties for use as Temporary Accommodation for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. The accommodation must be self-contained and within the Dumfries, Annan, Stranraer and Newton Stewart area.
Properties must have a current Energy Performance Certificate Band D or above, meet Fire Alarm, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide regulations and have current satisfactory electrical/gas safety certificates.
Payment for the properties would be paid quarterly in advance at the appropriate Local Housing Allowance Rate as detailed below.
One bedroom rate = £85.15 per week
Two bedrooms rate = £103.56 per week
Three bedrooms rate = £115.03 per week
Four or more bedrooms rate = £155.34 per week
