We have received reports that earlier this evening at approximately 5.45pm an elderly lady was klnocked down by a car in the car park at the Spar shop, Georgetown, Dumfries.
Police and emergency services are at the scene and have closed the car park to the public whilst they carry out their investigation , ( Although the shop is still open). There are currently traffic issues in that area at the movement.
The lady has been taken to Dumfries & Galloway Royal infirmary
