The 2016 Dumfries Cornet and lass Jordan McLatchie , Rebecca Nelson were joined today ‘Thursday the 16th of June’ by their entourage including Lynors John Peat , Craig Goldie, Billy Hiddleston, Blair Hall Morrison, this years Queen of the South, Eimear Smith, and her attendants Annisha Cunliffe and Ellis Murphy who are pupils of Maxwelltown High School, on a visit to Wards 15, 18 and 9 at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
Patients and staff at the hospital were overjoyed to see them all in their regalia. A spokesperson said ” It’s always a wonderful time of year, the Guid Nychburris association and Dumfries Cornets club tradition is something very special, and we love when the principals come to visit us at the hospital.”
