Halloween this year was full of shenanigans and creepy happenings at both Lockerbie and Lochmaben Customer Service Centres. Everybody got into the spirit of the season and dressed up to the nines, we had alien secret agents, pumpkins, skeletons, vampires, witches and witches cats! Not to mention pirates and zombie princessess! We had an interactive storytime, pass the parcel, creepy statues and bumps in the night. Of course we also held a costume parade and a prize of a real pumpkin given to the best costume of the night.

Best costume in Lochmaben was given to Allilia Bailey age 2 and best costume in Lockerbie was given to Verity Rogerson age 6. Well done girls!
Councillor Tom McAughtrie, Chair of Dumfries and Galloway Council Customer Service Committee said: “It’s great to see all these young members of the community getting together and having such fun. Congratulations to the prize winners and to everyone who took part for making such an effort .”
