Lead Stolen From Roof Of Large Dumfries Shop

Police officers are investigation the theft of lead flashing from the roof of The Range in Leafield Road, Dumfries.

It is suspected the lead has been stolen from the roof of the premises sometime in the last two weeks.

Constable Gary Bil said: “This is a bold theft that has occurred in the middle of Dumfries. Those responsible would have needed a ladder or similar to reach the roof and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area over the last two weeks to contact Police at Dumfries on 101”.
