Following a year of Fire Station Audits carried out by the Area Management Team, MOFFAT was crowned the best D&G Station for 2022/2023.
This long-standing tradition sees the winner’s name inscribed on a Shield, which is a much coveted prize in the Area.
This was the return of the Shield following the restrictions over the last couple of years.
A full Audit is carried out to gauge the station’s performance against administrative targets aligned to the Station Action Plan and SFRS Core Values, as well as a practical drill carried out on the night.
There was stiff competition this year and other factors were taken into account such as availability.
Area Commander Kenna presented the prize and commended the station for their excellent teamwork and respect shown to each other and visitors.
