MOFFAT MOUNTAIN RESCUE TEAM RESCUE MAN WITH AXE INJURY

The Moffat Mountain Rescue team were called out this weekend to assist local Police to help a person with a injured foot who was staying overnight in Brattleburn Bothy, on the Southern Upland Way between Wanlockhead to Moffat Grid Ref: NT016069 East of Daer Reservoir.

The injured man had cut his foot with an axe and was unable to walk. The team stretchered him to a waiting Scottish Ambulance Service vehicle and the man was taken to hospital.

A Spokesperson for Moffat Mountain Rescue Team stated “Please like and share to help people know how the team helps the local community. We are all volunteers on call 24/7 to assist anyone in the rural community who needs our help.”
