At around 1.35pm on Monday, 10 March 2025, Lockerbie Roads Policing unit were on mobile patrol in an unmarked police vehicle on Aldermanhill Road, at St Joseph’s College, Dumfries, when they observed a black offroad trials style motorbike traveling towards them.
The rider of the bike was wearing a black, short length puffer jacket, a blue hooded top, black jogging bottoms, black trainers, black gloves and a black and white face mask pulled up over their face.
Officers attempted to stop the motorbike however it mounted the pavement and made off at speed narrowly avoiding several young pedestrians.
