Around 5pm on Thursday, 27 April, 2023, Road Policing officers stopped a white Audi A4 on the northbound A74 (M), near Lockerbie.
Following a search of the car officers recovered approximately 7kg of cannabis with a potential street value of £70,000.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure. He is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Friday, 28 April, 2023.
