Police Scotland is investigating the theft of a handbag from The Pancake Place in English Street in the town sometime between 1300 hours and 1415 hours on Thursday 17 March 2016. The bag, a black coloured one contained a purse, a small amount of money and bank cards, a quantity of Pandora jewellery and perfume. The value of the haul is over £600.
Sergeant Steven Saunderson at Dumfries said “we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious around the are of the The Pancake Place yesterday. Anyone with information call us at Dumfries on 101.”
