Hit and Run road traffic collision – Moniaive
Police Scotland is investigating a hit and run road traffic collision which happened sometime on Monday 18/Tuesday 19 January 2016, on the A702 road about one mile east of Auchenchayne Farm, Moniaive, Thornhill. As a result about 10 metres of dry stone wall has been demolished by a vehicle which failed to stop after the crash.
Constable Scott Lockhart at Thornhill said “it looks like this was a high impact crash as the wall has been badly damaged and there are parts of a bumper, grey in colour left at the scene. Also, part of a number plate with 585 RGD on it was left there. Anyone who has any information about this crash should call us on 101.”
