Queen of The South Arena To Become Covid 19 Vaccination Centre

With a number of vaccines now available, the fight against the coronavirus pandemic is increasing. And as the local Health Board here in Dumfries and Galloway start to roll out the Covid 19 vaccine programme in this area, Queen of the South have offered and are pleased to announce that they have accepted the use of the Queen of the South Arena as a venue.

A Spokesperson for the club stated “As a community club we are pleased to be able to offer our facilities as a hub and for them to be put to good use. The facility will be available for them to use seven days a week with the first vaccine being administered on site on Monday the 18th of January.
The use of the Arena is in addition to our facilities at KGV which have for a number of months been used by the NHS and will continue to be used for the purpose of Covid testing.”
