£3000 TOOL Theft From Tibetan Centre, Eskdalemuir

Thefts – Eskdalemuir

Police Scotland Officers are investigating a number of thefts at the Samye Ling Tibetan Centre at Eskdalemuir sometime overnight Sunday 14/Monday 15 February 2016. A break-in has occurred at the canteen at the centre and a small amount of cash and confectionery stolen. An attempt has been made to enter sheds at the garden compound at the centre, and a yellow coloured Wacker plate which is valued at £3000 has been stolen from the work site.

Constable Murray Richardson at Lockerbie said “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of the centre on Sunday, or Sunday evening into Monday morning. Anyone who may have seen anything which might help us is asked to call us at Lockerbie on the 101 number. The removal of the Wacker plate would have required the use of a vehicle.”
