THIEVES TAKE £9000 WORTH OF TOOLS FROM LANGHOLM WORKSHOP

High value tool theft – Langholm

Tools with a value of almost £9000 have been stolen in a break-in to a workshop unit at Buccleuch Mills in Langholm. The tools were stolen sometime between 1200 hours on Tuesday 15 and 0830 hours on Wednesday 16 September 2015. The tools, which are used in a joiner’s workshop consist of nail guns, drills, sanders, saws, circular saws and other tools.

Constable Richard Davidson of Police Scotland at Langholm said “it is clear that a vehicle must have been used to remove such a large amount of tools and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity at the Buccleuch Mills over this period to get touch through the 101 number if they can help.”
