THIEVES ‘TROT’ AWAY WITH ITEMS STOLEN FROM HORSEBOX IN KIRKCUDBRIGHT

THEFT OF ITEMS FROM HORSEBOX – KIRKCUDBRIGHT

Police at Dalbeattie are appealing for information after a horsebox was broken into and several items stolen.

Sometime between 0800 hrs and 1800 hrs on Monday 25 January 2016, a horsebox was broken into on Longacres Road, Kirkcudbright and a number of items stolen including a USB stick and dash camera.

Constable Nikki Robinson at Dalbeattie Police Office said:

“I’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed person or persons hanging around the horsebox during the day on Monday 25 January.

“Our enquiries have revealed that there was a black Ford Focus car seen in the area at this time and I urge the driver or anyone else who saw the car to contact police as soon as possible.”
