Dumfries Community radio station Alive 107.3fm is celebrating one of its most respected presenters Ali Donowho who has been nominated in the Specialist Radio Show category in the national community radio awards .
Ali who presents Country in my Veins on the station as been shortlisted for the award which will be presented at Sheffield Hallam University on 15th September .
Ali has been on air for 7 years at Alive 107.3 and now syndicates his show to 15 stations all over the world . The show is renowned for bringing listeners the latest contemporary and emerging Country music .
Ali makes a point of bringing big names to his show having recently interviewed Darius Rucker and Ashley Campbell .
