‘I Predict A Riot’ As KAISER CHIEFS Announced To Play At Doonhame Festival 2021

The Doonhame Festival has announced a raft of top quality acts including Kaiser Chiefs, Top-loader, Bad Manners and The Feeling is scheduled to return to the grounds of The Crichton in Dumfries on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st July 2021.

The 2020 event was cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions and although 2020 has brought
great disappointment to festival goers, the Doonhame team have been working hard to
ensure that 2021 comes back with a bang. They are delighted to announce that the Kaiser
Chiefs will be headlining the festival on the Saturday. The 2021 line-up also sees the addition on of Toploader and the introduction of on-site camping.

Sandy Sweetman, Joint Festival Director said: “We were really excited about the 2020 line-up and the support shown for the festival throughout this challenging year has been exceptional.
To recognise this support we are determined to make 2021 even better and were blown
away when the Kaiser Chiefs agreed to play at our “wee” festival in Dumfries”
.
Kaiser Chiefs’, Simon Rix added; “We are excited to be headlining the Doonhame Festival in
Dumfries next year. Playing to our fans in Scotland is always a highlight for us and we look
forward to seeing them all in 2021”.

The Feeling, Bad Manners, Hayseed Dixie, Skerryvore, I Am A Raver, Ibiza Mania and over 40 other acts have all confirmed their availability to perform in 2021.

“On-site camping will also be introduced in 2021 for tents and live-in vehicles. Camping spaces are limited so we would recommend booking early. Early Bird Tickets for the festival have proved to be very popular and have now sold out, but a limited Tier One ticket offer is now on sale.” states Sandy.
Our priority is always public safety. The limited capacity and plenty of open air space will
allow for physical distancing and we will ensure that all other Covid-19 safety measures are
in place throughout the weekend. We will also roll over tickets if the festival cannot go
ahead due to further Covid-19 restrictions”.

Tickets are available online from www.doonhamefestival.co.uk and from the Midsteeple Box
Office in Dumfries during their normal opening hours.

A limited number of Tier One Weekend Tickets are now available for £75. Family Weekend Tickets are also available.

Applications for trade stalls are currently being accepted.
