Dominic Kirwan and Mary Duff will wrap up their “Together in Concert” tour series at Dominic’s first weekend in Dumfries this November. The weekend at the Cairndale Hotel over the weekend of 27th, 28th and 29th November and will feature the Irish entertainer who is no stranger to the region and special guests Mary Duff and Shawn Cuddy with three shows that will also be open to the general public as well as hotel guests, many of whom will travel to the hotel from all over the UK and Ireland.
Impossible to pigeonhole since he burst on the entertainment scene some 27 years ago Dominic Kirwan is one of Irelands top entertainers and the Omagh man has been a regular in Scotland building a massive fan base that have kept him one of the most popular artistes from the Emerald isle Dominic has toured with such artistes as Charley Pride and Tammy Wynette but in his own right has made a name for himself with a string of hit singles, albums and sell out shows. Comfortable with a country classic, a ballad or a rock and roll hit, fans young, old and new are really in for a treat as Dominic takes you on a stunning musical journey with his band.
Mary and Dominic came together for tours of the UK and Ireland at the start of this year and enjoyed record breaking runs, they also found time to release the hugely acclaimed single “Paradise Tonight” and also collected an Irish country music award along the way. Dominic says that this weekend will be the perfect finale, he also promises a really good weekend of dancing. Shawn and Mary are hugely popular entertainers in their own right and Cuddy has quite a following throughout the region as well.
The Irishman is set for a massive run of shows from December 1st until the end of June next year ! He will be joined in concert by his sons Colm and Barry for a sell out pre Christmas tour and Barry for his Irish and UK concert tour in 2016.
