‘Knockengorroch Spring Session’ – The Venue, Dumfries -Friday 16th March 2018

Some of Knock’s fave artists are coming to Dumfries, bringing a touch of the Galloway Hills and World Ceilidh magic to town this March. Don’t miss!

We welcome back The Baghdaddies after their storming Bo Airigh stage set at Knockengorroch 2017, an exhilarating cocktail of Balkan, ska, Caribbean and Latin grooves shot through with Geordie humour, sizzling brass and jangling guitars played with furious energy and theatrical humour. Dancing is the only option!

Supa & The Kryptonites – We defy you not to dance to this high energy Edinburgh 10 piece -Pulled in picked up & slammed wid Ska, Funk & Grime from da get go! high energy aplenty with an eclectic mix of madness, featuring horns, big vocals & BarZ! Dutty dutty barz! Oi.

Dem Man Productions – Daniel and Ross of Basstonic fame previously holding club nights at The Venue and both from Dumfries & Galloway, promote all things from the Scottish underground scene. Hip-hop and grime to all out Jungle, Drum ‘n’ Bass and everything in between!

Tom Spirals & Escape Roots – Escape Roots is a youthman producer out of Galloway making big waves internationally and in the local scene, crafting uplifting riddims with a conscious message and foundation shaking bass. Tom’s energetic performances have taken him all around the globe, regularly holding down the mic for many well respected producers including Knockengorroch residents Mungo’s HiFi.
