Internationally Acclaimed Pianist Tom Poster Comes to Dumfries and Galloway

A pianist of outstanding artistry and versatility, Tom Poster will play four concerts in Dumfries and Galloway this month, hosted by Absolute Classics.

Since his London concerto debut at the age of 13, Tom has appeared in a wide-ranging concerto repertoire of over 40 major works and is equally in demand as both a soloist and chamber musician.

Described as “mercurially brilliant” by classical music magazine The Strad, Tom will be performing four solo recitals at the following venues around Dumfries and Galloway from 18th-21st January:

Annan Academy, Annan – 18th January at 7.30pm

Cochran Hall, Kirkcudbright – 19th January at 7.30pm

Holywood Village Hall, Dumfries – 20th January at 7.30pm

BQA Hotel, Thornhill – 21st January at 3.30pm

Tickets are priced at just £15 and Absolute Classics are offering free entry for people under 26.

Tom’s programmes will include Beethoven Sonata in E flat major, Op. 7, Chopin Ballade No. 4 and Ravel La valse, plus many more.

This series of concerts opens the year for Absolute Classics who are committed to providing a chance for everyone to hear, learn and participate in high quality classical music on a regular basis.
