Stranraer Park Fest returns to the shores of Lochryan on Saturday 27th August. Now under management of DG9 Music & Entertainment Group, the popular one-day music festival is bringing some of the region’s favourite acts to Stranraer’s Agnew Park.
Featuring on the line up are Ali Donowho (Main Image) from Dumfries, Annan’s Bob Hollis, Ayrshire’s Jimmy Mac, and The Barrstools, festival favourites The Ruckstars and Machars boys Chopperhead, and Dave Against the Machine.
Returning to the Park Fest stage, we also have Charlie Rogers. Charlie, who is coming all the way from Nashville, first performed on our stage in 2019, and recently released his new single “Just Another Long Night”. Also performing as part of our Acoustic Stage line up is singer/ songwriter Marcus Basi from Stirling.
We also have a whole host of Stranraer based acts including Astoria, Tia Macleod, Lianne Brown, Ben Watts, Breakdown SOS, Way Out West, and Kissing the Flint.
Event Manager and Chair of the group, Catriona McGhie tells us “We are so excited to be bringing Park Fest back to Stranraer. It is a key event in our community’s calendar. We have scaled things back slightly this year, going back to our roots with a focus on our local talent. We are so lucky to have so many fabulous acts in the area!”
