STRANRAER RNLI PARK FEST LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

The Stranraer RNLI Park Fest is the regions best little festival with a big heart, this year the most westerly music festival in the region is already starting to build up excitement ahead of the 19th and 20th of August.  The team behind the annual charity event in aid of Stranraer RNLI have been busy producing a brand new Website to help promote the event, this new version can be visited at www.lifeboatparkfest.co.uk , And is fully mobile device friendly, allowing everyone to keep right up to date with the full line up for the 2 day festival.

The Festival team are also starting to announce a fantastic lineup for the 2016 festival including tyhe return of 2 of last years biggest hits, Local Galloway pipe Rockers ‘The Dangleberries and Irish Indie Rockers ‘ The Late Twos’

The Late Twos RNLI Park Fest are thrilled to announce the return of a crowd favourite to this year’s line-up. The Late Twos are a Northern Irish Indie Rock/Pop band, formed in 2011 in Belfast. A lively and energetic five piece outfit, they are well known across Northern Ireland for their unique and fresh sound, style and charisma. The boys have recently garnered national headlines with their cover of Neil Diamond’s classic hit ‘Sweet Caroline’ in support for their beloved northern Irish football team and their journey to the Euro 2016 competition. The boys first played the Young Guns night of Park Fest in 2014 and the organisers quickly realised the need to have them on the main day. Onstage and offstage they make the most of the festival entertaining the crowds or mixing with them and soaking up the atmosphere. They will be an absolute must hear at this year’s festival.

 

Following on from their huge success with the sell out audience at last year’s Park Fest, the team are delighted to announce the return of the ever popular local band  ‘The Dangleberries’ ! One of the highlights of the night last year with young and old alike, The Dangleberries gather new fans at every event they play and have loyal fans follow them to different events across the UK .
