Returning to Park Fest after a few years break are Michael JED Molyneux & Derek DEK Laburn.
A much loved local duo with wide and varied tastes.
Stating their style as “Classic Rock Unplugged”
These guys are definite crowd pleasers and sure to have you swaying in your seats, singing along or up out of them having a dance with your friends.
Ged sings and plays acoustic guitar, cajon and harmonica.
Derek plays acoustic guitar, 12 string guitar, bouzouki and mandolin, plus a bit of backing vocals.
Ged & Dek been playing in bands since God was a boy. This is a their little side project.
They try to strip things back to the essence of the music. Many of their songs are just one voice and one acoustic guitar.
It’s great stuff, really.

This years Park fest will once again be hosted by Alive 107.3 FM presenter and writter behind the DGWGO ‘Who Review’ Ali Donowho and Guests.
Park Fest 2015 is the 6th festival, hard to believe! Since its invention in 2010 it has become one of Stranraer’s most popular annual live music and entertainment events.
A music festival held in a large marquee which is ticketed, a licensed bar and live music all day!! Nowhere else could you get so much great live music for so little a cost, in fact if you buy your ticket before hand it is less than £2 per band!!
