POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a a farmersquad bike was stolen from a field at Newton Stewart.
Between 9 am on Friday 7th February and 10.30 am on Sunday 9th February, within a field owned by Mains of Machermore farm, Newton Stewart, a green Kawasaki quad bike was stolen.
A police Spokesperson Said “If you were near this area or passing by between these dates and times and saw or heard something suspicious, please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting Ref 1427 of 9th Feb.
** Please remember – Be vigilant and keep all your property, including vehicles/ equipment/tools etc, within your home/sheds/other out buildings, especially when you’re not using them!
Make sure you lock and secure any doors and windows to avoid having any of your property stolen by opportunist thieves! **”
