Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking essential maintenance on the A77 between Bennane and Pebbles Spa from Sunday 19th September until Thursday 7th October 2021.
This scheme, with a value of £788,000, will benefit around 2,085 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
This work will be carried out using a combination of traffic management. From Sunday 19th September until Saturday 2nd October 2021 there will be a two-way convoy system installed at this location, which will operate between the hours of 8am and 7pm, each day.
From Monday 20th September until Friday 1st October 2021, there will be two-way temporary traffic signals installed to allow the surface material to cool and road marking to take place.
A further two-way convoy system will be in place during the hours of 7pm and 6am, each night, from Monday 4th October until Thursday 7th October 2021 to carry out road studding works.
Our operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
