Temporary Traffic Management In Place For 4 Weeks At Tinwald Downs Roundabout

Scottish Water is advising road users in Heathhall area of Dumfries of some road traffic management during work on a project to improve the water mains network. 

There will be 4 way temporary traffic lights at the Tinwald Downs roundabout from July 5th for around four weeks.The lights will be manually controlled by marshals during the day to help minimise disruption.

A Spokesperson said “We have liaised with Dumfries & Galloway Council roads department when planning the road traffic management.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank affected road users in advance for their patience and understanding.

This work is to enable essential maintenance work on the water supply and help address low pressure to some properties in the area.
