Construction work on a new village square for Glenluce is complete, with the site now handed back to the community from Luce Bay in October.
Old Luce Development Trust, who bought and developed the site with funding from Old Luce Community Fund, will complete the finishing touches, including seating, planting and a noticeboard, over the winter ready for an official opening in spring 2022.
The site had been a gap site since DePrato’s chip shop burned down around 1990.
