Dumfries and District Ramblers Saturday’s walk was from the Red Church at Dalswinton up Wild Cat Glen to Pennyland Moor and back. The photo was taken at the start of the walk, appropriately perhaps, in the Dalswinton Journey Garden and shows the Ramblers standing behind a carved depiction of a labyrinth. . The entrance to the Garden states, “may your blessings outlast the thistles that grow”, Thanks go to Wilma for leading this pleasant walk.
The following day was another successful day out in the Lake District. A group of 9 Ramblers climbed the Lion and the Lamb (Helm Crag) from Grasmere. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately!) it too windy to climb up the ‘Howitzer’. Another walk down to Phil!
