Croma Vigilant To Tackle 3 Peaks Challenge To Raise Funds For Jackson

Croma Vigilant are a guarding and asset protection company based locally in Dumfries. Operations director Paul Williamson and his head office team are tackling the 3 Peaks Challenge on the 30th June 2017 to help raise funds for local boy Jackson Geddes.

One of Theam told DGWGO “This will be no mean feat as there will be just 24 hours to climb each of the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales! This will begin with Ben Nevis. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles, is located in Scotland and stands at 1,345 Meters above sea level. Once completed the team will immediately travel south into England to tackle their biggest, Scafell Pike. Scafell Pike is located in the Lake District and sits at 978 Meters above sea level. With two down this leaves the 3rd, Mount Snowdon. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and stands at 1,085 Meters above sea level.

3 Peaks. 462 miles covered. 24 hours. All for one brave and special boy, Jackson Geddes!

Jackson is a 15 year old boy from Dumfries who was diagnosed with the genetic condition Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome ( WHS ) at six months old and wasn’t expected to live past the age of two. However, Jacksons health has deteriorated and he can no longer eat or drink and requires 24-hour care.

The Croma Vigilant team are aiming to raise £2,500 for Jacksons fight and ultimately help make his dreams come true.
