JEWELLERY WORTH £6000 TAKEN IN DUMFRIES HOUSE RAID

Police Scotland is seeking the help of the public in relation to a break-in to a house in Hardthorn Road in Dumfries.

The break-in happened sometime between Saturday 14 and Monday 16 May 2016. Jewellery with a value of around £6000 has been stolen in the raid and includes valuable eternity rings and a gold bracelet.

Constable Pauline Kirk at Dumfries said “this break-in happened while the occupants were away from home. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have heard a burglar alarm sounding in the area at around 0200 hours on Monday morning. Anyone who can help should call us on 101.”
