FLASHER EXPOSES HIMSELF ON THE BANKS OF THE NITH

Police in Dumfries want to trace the following described man who indecently exposed himself on the path near to the Robert Burns Centre in Dumfries just after 1700 hours on Saturday 28 May 2016. The man was seen sitting on a bench near to the Centre when the incident happened. He is described as being between 30 and 50 years old, about 5’5″ tall, big build, with dark short curly hair. He was wearing a light blue shirt and black dress trousers and was carrying a green coloured violin case. The incident happened as a family of five were passing en route to the nearby play park.

Constable William Dundas at Dumfries said “we want to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of the Robert Burns Centre around this time to get in touch if they saw this man, or can tell us who he is. Police can be contacted through the 101 number here in Dumfries.”
