POLICE PROBE SPATE OF THEFTS FROM SHEDS IN KIRKCUDBRIGHT

Police officers in Kirkcudbright are investigating a spate of shed break-in in the town’s High Street sometime overnight Thursday 2/Friday 3 June 2016. At this stage it appears that a Stihl make petrol hedge cutter is the only thing that has been stolen. In total four sheds were violated.

Constable Hayley Stitt at Kirkcudbright said”clearly those who carried out these break-ins have been looking for something, however at this stage all that appears to have been stolen is the hedge cutter. We want to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the High Street area to get in touch through 101 if they can assist. Anyone else who may have suspicions about their shed being entered should also give us a call to report it.”
