With the sunshining all weekend and a line up including – SISTER SLEDGE ELVANA / GENERAL LEVY / HENGE Eva Lazarus / Huey Morgan (DJ set) / Stanton Warriors / Pongo / Afriquoi the atmosphere at the festival was electric.
Eden Festival always offers an array of entertainment besides the music, this year we spotted sock wrestling, as one of the new events, which was actually quite entertaining to watch, plus there was circus workshops, craft, a children’s play area and much much more going on in the garden of Eden.
The main stage highlights on the Saturday when team DGWGO attended were Disco stars Sister Sledge, who belted out their iconic goodtime Disco grooves including ‘We Are Family’, ‘He’s The Greatest Dancer’, ‘Frankie’ and ‘Lost in Music,’. They looked fantastic, sounded awesome and had the crowd waving their hands in the air for the whole set.
Also we really enjoyed the charismatic Elvis-fronted Nirvana tribute band, Elvana, an experience that everyone needs to have in their life at least once.
Event organisers said “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the festival this year, we were dazzled by your sparkly disco outfits and dancing skills! We hope you all had an amazing few days in the Garden with us, and if you made memories at the Great Mountain Stage, enjoyed the cycle powered reggae stage in the woods, learnt new skills in our workshops or partied the night away at the Lost Disco – we would love to see your photos and videos from Eden 23!”
Another thank you goes out to our incredibly talented crew, volunteers and performers. Whether this was your first time at Eden or you have been volunteering at the festival for years, we are incredibly grateful and thankful to each and every one of you!
We are excited to announce that we now have a limited number of earlybird tickets on sale for Eden Festival 24! The festival will take place 13th-16th June, tickets are first come, first served and they won’t be around for long, so grab them while you can!
