POLICE Officers from Newton Stewart are appealing for witnesses after a report of a theft from Penkiln Sawmill and Builders Merchants, Baldoon, Wigtown, Newton Stewart which occurred around 2330 hours, Friday 5th February 2021.
Items stolen include a large quantity of fencing materials.
CCTV reviewed shows what is believed to be a large white van with sidelights approaching the site around 2330 hours and leaving 20 minutes later.
A Police Spokesperson said “If you saw or heard someone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or if you live nearby and have CCTV or Dashcam footage, we would like to hear from you.
Additionally, if you were travelling around the Bladnoch area during the evening and recall seeing a van of similar description, we would like to hear from you.
