POLICE IN DUMFRIES have launched a witness appeal to try and find a vandal that smashed atleast one car window in the small hours of this morning on Queen Street in the town.
At around 00:55 AM this morning (Tuesday 9th April 2019) a male described as slim build, white beard, white hair wearing dark clothing and a straw hat was seen smashing the windscreen of an Audi A4 in Queen Street, Dumfries.
Two further vehicles, a Renault Scenic and Land Rover Freelander parked nearby also had their windscreens smashed.
A police Spokesperson stated “We will be reviewing CCTV and carrying out door to door enquires in the area, however anyone who believes they know the identify of the man in the straw hat should contact police on 101 quoting incident 0133 of 09/04/2019.”
