Police Scotland officers are investigating a break-in to The New Vacuna Inn in Heathhall. The break-in happened sometime between 0030 hours and 0915 hours on Wednesday 16 November 2016. The target appears to have been the gaming machine and the contents were taken after it was broken into. It is estimated that over £300 has been stolen.
Constable Polly Kippen at Dumfries said “we want to hear from anyone who may have been pas the premises in the early hours of Wednesday to get in touch if they saw anything suspicious. Likewise we would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the bar on Tuesday evening if they saw anything suspicious. Callers can reach us at Dumfries on the 101 number.”
