Last week, Castle Douglas Medical Centre was broken into and a quantity of prescription medication was stolen.
A Police spokesperson stated “Extensive enquiries were carried out which led to the arrest of a 36 year old man. He was interviewed and later charged with the relevant offences.
He appeared at Dumfries Sheriff Court from police custody on Tuesday 23rd June where he was remanded in custody until court proceedings.
