£5000 Worth Of Tools Stolen – Dalbeattie

Police Scotland officers in Dalbeattie are investigating a break-in to a secure unit at the Dalbeattie High School building site in Haugh Road, in which power tools valued at around £5000 were stolen.

The theft occurred sometime overnight Friday 13/Saturday 14 January 2017. The tools included a chop saw, laser levels, a hammer gun, screw guns,nail guns and impact drivers.

Constable Courtney Richards said “this was quite a haul and it appears that those responsible were well aware of what it was they were after. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the building site at Dalbeattie High School on Friday evening, early Saturday morning, and who may have seen or heard something suspicious. Anyone with any information which might help us catch those responsible should call us on 101, or if they want to remain anonymous, then through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
