Police Scotland is investigating the theft of a Case make tractor excavator from the KN Training site at the Broom Industrial estate, Newbie, Annan.
The theft took place sometime overnight Wednesday 13/Thursday 14 September 2017. The excavator is orange in colour, was new in April 2017 and is valued at around £75,000.
Detective Sergeant Colin McKinstry said “the digger appears to have been driven through the security fence at the site, and then loaded onto some for of transport to be taken away. A low loader type trailer is the likeliest form of transport. I am appealing to anyone who may have been on the road between Annan and Newbie on Wednesday or early Thursday morning to get in touch if they saw anything which might help us in this enquiry. Caller can contact police at Annan on the 101 number.”
