POLICE Scotland have confirmed an 82 year old woman has died and three people have been injured following a two vehicle road crash ( Both cars involved were Vauxhall Astras) on the A710 between Dalbeattie and Kippford on Thursday 23 May 2019 at around 9.35pm.
Emergency services attended and an 82 year old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupants of the cars were taken to the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. The two men, aged 83 and 23 and a 20 year old woman remain in hospital.
The road was closed for several hours allowing for crash scene investigation to be carried out.
Sergeant Paul Dodds said:
“An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of the crash. I am appealing to anyone who was on the A710 around the time of the incident to contact us. In particular, I’m asking motorists with dash cams to check their footage and hand in any images which could assist us in our enquiries.”
