Police Scotland is investigating a report of nine cars being vandalised at the garage premises of Dumfries Mitsubishi in Glasgow Road Dumfries. The cars had wing mirrors and number plates damaged in the attack. The damage is expected to run into many hundreds of pounds and a full cost has yet to be ascertained. The attack happened at around 0100 hours on Friday 16 December 2016.
Constable Chloe Ells at Dumfries said “this is a clear act of wanton vandalism which has left these cars damaged. We are reviewing CCTV footage in the area and carrying out door to door enquiries. We are also appealing for witnesses to this incident and ask that anyone who might have been passing the premises at around 0100 on Friday morning call us at Dumfries on 101 if they saw or heard anything suspicious.
