Police in Wigtown report that at around 3.20pm on Thursday 9 May 2019 an 80 year old man driving a black coloured Honda Jazz car, died in a one vehicle collision on the A714 near to the entrance to Drove Park.
A police spokesperson stated “The 80 year old man was the sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Enquiries into the cause of the collision are ongoing. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this death and the Procurator Fiscal has been informed.”
