Police officers in Annan are investigating the theft of an airgun from a vehicle in the town. The black coloured air pistol along with a game bag was stolen from a Subaru Forrester car which was parked in the Aldi car park in Butts Street sometime on the afternoon of either Wednesday 20 or Thursday 21 September 2017.
Constable Andrew Broomfield at Annan said “we are appealing to the public for their help in getting this weapon back again. Anyone who may have been in the Aldi car park on the afternoon of last Wednesday or Thursday is asked to think back if they saw or heard anything which might help us catch those responsible. We are also carrying our door to door enquiries and CCTV footage is also being reviewed. Anyone who can help in this investigation is asked to call us at Annan on the 101 number.
