Police Scotland are seeking information in relation to an alleged assault that took place around 02:30 am on January 1st 2020, in Lewis Street, Stranraer.
The assault allegedly involved 5 males, all in their teens or early 20s.
Police are keen to speak to a female who intervened and also the driver of a black vehicle that stopped and picked up the victim.
