ANNAN PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN HELP BRING CHRISTMAS CHEER TO CARLISLE

Hecklegirth and Eastriggs schools from Annan delivered over 200 gifts to a school in Carlisle on Monday following an appeal to their school communities.

Hecklegirth School also held a Xmas jumper day and charged pupils £1, raising £237 for Norman Street School.

Jane Alexander told DGWGO “Thankyou to all who donated, wore jumpers, delivered and worked together. We are so proud of all your efforts to help

bring some Christmas cheer to those affected by the floods.
