Driver Runs Away And Leaves 3 Seriously Injured In Annan Road Crash

Police Scotland is seeking witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which happened at around 5.49am  on Monday 13 March 2017 near to Annan Fire Station on Standalane.

The collision involved two vehicles, a red coloured VW Golf and a Silver Nissan Almera. As a result of this collision the three occupants of the Nissan Almera were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

The driver of the red VW Golf ran off from the scene and is described as early 20’s, 5ft 10 inches and was wearing grey clothing.

Constable James Tweedie said “we would like to hear from any witnesses who were at the scene when the collision happened or seen anyone running away from the scene. This was a fairly large impact and it may be the driver who ran off has some new injuries, anyone with any information which might help should call us at Annan on 101”.
