POLICE OFFICERS in Annan are investigating after attempts were made to set a letterbox on fire in Springbells Road in the town. Thankfully no damage was caused and the fire did not take hold.
The incident occurred around 9 PM on Thursday 9th May 2019 with a group of 5-7 youths aged between 12-14 seen in the area.
A police spokesperson said “The description of the youths involved is limited, however anyone that saw a group of youths in Springbells Road around that time or has information which could help, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident PS-20190512-3472.”
